The Detroit Lions
Football America is ready for the Detroit Lions to grow up. It’s almost as if America is the stern father sitting the Lions down and telling them that in Year Three under the Jim Schwartz regime, it’s time they assume more responsibility and at least start pulling their weight on Thanksgiving. They’re not the NFC North’s cute little rebuilders anymore. The Lions won their final four games to finish a bearable 6-10 last season. For the first time in 11 years they ranked in the top 20 in both offensive and defensive scoring (15th offensively, 19th defensively). |
